Summary:
This season’s harvest became jars of mild and hot peppers, giardiniera, salsa, and hot sauce...each batch balanced carefully, sometimes with fruit to soften the heat. Preservation extends the life of what we grow, but it also deepens its value.
In our work, we think the same way: refine, balance, and make something lasting from what’s available. These jars became gifts for clients. Small, meaningful expressions of process, care, and seasonality.
notes:
Salsas and hot sauces became milder over time after canning once they had time to rest.
We recommend using latex gloves and face masks while working with some of the world’s hottest peppers [not a joke].
Grow varieties of vegetables that are unique, rare, and beautiful. They often look and taste better...creating unique experience throughout the process.
