Construction Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Manager to lead and grow our construction phase services. This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, ready to refine systems, uphold design excellence, and ensure that projects are built with quality and care. This is not a role for someone looking to be micromanaged. We need a self-starter who takes ownership of their time, communicates effectively, manages details, and follows through with consistency.
The most successful candidates will be accountable, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the construction administration phase of multiple landscape and urban design projects.
-
Maintain and enforce design intent during construction, serving as the primary point of contact for contractors and consultants.

Prepare and manage bid documents, specifications, and project manuals.
-
Monitor project budgets, timelines, and deliverables with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
-
Conduct regular site visits, manage punch lists, and provide responsive and timely field direction.
-
Proactively identify and solve issues before they become problems, log RFIs, submittals, and coordinate with project teams.
-
Collaborate with the client, consultants, and the CultivateLAND team to maintain seamless project continuity from concept to completion.
-
Lead and refine construction-phase processes and standards to grow this core service area of the firm.
What Makes You A Good Fit?
-
Are passionate about building things that matter and care about quality execution.
